About Kasey

With over two decades of experience in the music industry,

Kasey Cleckler has built a distinguished career spanning

business management, touring, artist management, and record

label operations. She began her professional journey at Flood,

Bumstead, McCready, and McCarthy, managing day-to-day

accounting and business operations for multiple Grammy

Award-winning artists touring nationally and internationally. Her expertise

extended into music and book publishing, sponsorships, and serving as a line producer for a network television show. Additionally, Kasey toured internationally with a Grammy Award-winning artist, gaining invaluable first-hand insight into the complexities of life on the road.

Today, Kasey is the founder of Cape + Anchor, a coaching firm empowering music industry executives, creators, high-performing touring teams, and leaders. As an ICF-accredited coach and certified Addiction Recovery Coach through the World Coach Institute, she specializes in guiding clients through thoughtful decision-making, creative problem-solving, and achieving transformative breakthroughs. She has toured with Grammy, CMA, and ACM Award-winning artists and their crews, enhancing internal and external relationships while refining the culture within bands to promote better communication, stronger collaboration, and sustainable success on and off the road.

A lifelong learner, Kasey earned her master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Lipscomb University, focusing on Strategic Leadership and Performance Coaching. She is also a graduate of the Recording Industry Management program at Middle Tennessee State University. Her continued education includes completing the Harvard Law School Program on Mediation and Conflict Management, deepening her expertise in conflict resolution and effective communication strategies.

Kasey is an active leader in the Nashville community. She serves on the executive board of SOURCE Nashville as Secretary and is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame’s Troubadour Advisory Council. She is an alumna of the Society of Leaders in Development (SOLID), the Women’s Music Business Association, and Alpha Xi Delta sorority. Her speaking engagements include panels for the Country Music Association, Touring Career Workshop, and Belmont University. She was also a featured writer for the CMA’s Close Up Magazine.

With a passion for giving back, Kasey volunteered as a wish granter with Make-A-Wish for five years and served on the Young Leaders Board for Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee. She was a member of the 2022 class of Nashville Emerging Leaders and graduated from the TNT Leadership program at the Middle Tennessee Leadership Institute. She currently volunteers at Triple Dasch Equestrian Center, caring for retired racehorses and learning the practice of equine-based therapeutic programs.
